OT:Karen,I forgot something on the glaucoma question

Question:

I couldn’t retrieve the thread,so I am starting a new message. I forgot to mention that from what I’ve read,the use of steroids,long-term I am sure,can contribute to glaucoma. I think you mentioned having used prednisone,so I am mentioning it in case you are still using prednisone. I wish I could remember if you are or aren’t still using it. Somehow,it seems that possibly the use of steroids can contribute.Anyway,you might want to visit alt.support.glaucoma. Karen,I went through a period of a month or two of being really scared about this disease,but now I have made peace with the possibility of getting it. Sharon
