Metabolife ???

Question:

I just want to ad that I’m not dogging the product, just advising that you make sure that there is nothing that will affect any conditions you may have. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – Check the ingredients CAREFULLY! You will se that there are many ingredients that could be harmful to certain individuals, especially if they have elevated blood pressure. Anyone have any comments/opinions on Metabolife??  I’ve seen there kiosk at the mall, then checked out their web site …  seems like pretty good stuff. I need to lose about 10 pounds (I’ve been trying to drop these same 10 for about 4 years). Any comments appreciated.. A

It is an expensive herbal ECA STack.  You can get the same thing for half the price at GNC or other health food store, look for MetaboLIFT, Thermodrene, or Stim&Trim (formula I, not formula II) K in Cali 234/178.25/127 since 14 JAN 1998 For water, stacking, and LC MiniFAQ info see: http://www.angelfire.com/ca2/LowcarbingDream Am I getting smart with you?  How would *you* know?

Let me expand even more on this. According to James Balch, MD & Phyllis Balch, CNC in "Prescription for Nutritional Healing", the following potential problems exist: Ma Huang, better known as Ephedra "should not be used by persons who have anxiety disorder, glaucoma, heart disease or high blood pressure, or are taking MAO inhibitor drugs" Siberian Ginseng "should not be used by those with hypoglycemia, high blood pressure, or heart disorders." Bee Pollen  may cause allergic reaction in some individuals. Damiana interferes with iron absorption – additional iron suppliment may be necessary. Goldenseal "should be used under supervision by those with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or glaucoma." Unfortunately, many people who need to lose weight also have high blood pressure, making 356 and many other diet formulas a little risky. If you need to lose just a few pounds, then your BP is probably not that bad but ALWAYS check with a doctor before taking suppliments or starting an exercise program. I must ad that I do know several people who have achieved very good results with 356. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – I just want to ad that I’m not dogging the product, just advising that you make sure that there is nothing that will affect any conditions you may have.

It’s always a good idea to speak to your doctor before you start something like this.  You may wish also to examine any of these links.
