Mimi, HGH has been around for years and has successfully been used to treat growth hormone deficient children and more recently, adults. The prescription HGH is given by injection, once or twice a day and is FDA approved. The oral spray form of HGH has only been available in the last year, I believe.  It is a low dose version that does not require a prescription.  It is sold as a dietary supplement. You can read more about HGH in Dr. Ronald Klatz "Grow Younger with HGH".  His latest book "Hormones of Youth" is also good, and mentions the new oral spray version.  I believe it is going through a clinical trial right now. I would encourage you to read the books and ok it with your doctor if you’re still in doubt.  HGH has be proved to reduce LDL cholesterol.  It has numerous other benefits as well. A 75 yr old friend of mine has been taking human growth hormone in an oral spray for about 2 months now.  She says it has helped her energy level, sleeping and mood greatly.  She checked with her doctor and he said it was ok for her to try it since it wasn’t the prescription strength kind. I’m a little skeptical (but i believe my friend feels better). I’m retired and in reasonably good health.  I have glaucoma, cateracts, and moderately high cholesterol (but my HDL is pretty good). Would trying HGH be ok for me?  Why haven’t I heard much about it?  Is it new?  Where can I read something about it? Mimi
