Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and who digs them???

Question:

At the moment, i’ve decided to give the doctor’s advice a one month trial. If there’s any deterioration or no progress after a month, I’ll ask for a referral to an orthopod.   Dick, you want to be referred to a cockroach??

According to mexican folk wisdom, a cockroach is a grumpy person, and the reason the person is grumpy is that she has no marijuana to smoke. It was RSS and not glaucoma we were worried about, wasn’t it? — David Kassover             "Proper technique helps protect you against RPI BSEE ‘77 MSCSE ‘81            sharp weapons and dull judges."

"La cucuracha, la cucuracha, dum-de-dum-de-dum-de-dum…"  (The cockroach, the cockroach, boy is he a stressed-out dude) ".. la la de-dah-dah, porque no tiene marijuana que fumar."  (he is unhappy because he has no marijauna for to smoke) …translated from pecky, end-checked memory by yours truly Steve —

I think the origional poster would want a specialist.. personally, I’d have concerns over how good an orthopod a cockroach would be, not having a skeleton and all :-) .         Now, an arthropod is another beast entirely.. and a cockroach would be somewhat anatomically disadvantaged if it _didn’t_ want to be one :-) .         For the dictionarily disadvantaged, an arthropod is a segmented, chitinous critter (ie. a bug), while an orthopod is someone who specializes in correcting problems of which CTS is but one.  I (now) know.. I looked it up :-)

It never fails.  I never keep the information I need, and I keep the info I never use.  I remember seeing an article that evaluated portable planers in one of the major woodworking mags (FWW?).  Does anyone know which issue it was ?  I promise I won’t throw it away this time =:-). — xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx x  Tom Gillespie                                Harris Semiconductor   x xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
