Fishoil/ginkgo/magnesium for glaucoma

Question:

Correction: Better delete safflower and soy oil from my list of sources of arachidonic acid since conversion of a precursor is required or quantities are limited. Peanuts remain an excellent source, however.

Response:

A followup to Mark’s post on oils. Arachidonic acid is also found in good amounts in peanut oil, peanut butter, safflower and soy oil. And, corn products are claimed by some to be antagonists of niacin (which has a role in guarding against cholesterol deposits and may improve blood circulation by dilating vessels). By comparing beneficial oils with corn oil, the difference in results may be doubly accentuated. (Not a professional submission)

Response:

Hi all, Just to inform everyone about alternatives for the treatment of glaucoma to try besides magnesium, anti-oxidants and good nutrition in general and enough exercise I repost articles about fishoil and ginkgo: —————– REDUCED IOP IN HEALTHY VOLUNTEERS AFTER DIETARY SUPPLEMENTATION WITH FISH OIL (PIKASOL
