Window Surgery

Well I’m not really sure…but they probably are thinking about a trabeculectomy. The opening is actually more like a trap door though. I’m not a doctor (just an ophthalmic tech)…so you should check with them, but most doctors aren’t going to do invasive surgery unless the IOP is out of control, visual field loss is present, and the patient is on maximum meds. Meds usually come first, then laser, then surgery. Good Luck Mark
