Dear Nicki, It can be a very worrying time for the parents of someone with glaucoma, and knowing you’re not alone can help, as can talking to other parents in a similar position. The International Glaucoma Association has a support group for parents of children with glaucoma and if such a group (based in the UK) would be of use I will be pleased to forward the contact details directly as the mother who runs the group would not want her telephone number ‘broadcast’. My son Ben, who is now one year old was diagnosed with congenital glaucoma a few days after his birth, with surgery and careful monitoring his pressure is now under control. It is still uncertain to what extent his vision is affected. Can anyone give me more information, or have a chilc with glaucoma. I am very worried how it is going to affect his life.                                     Nicki
