Yes to both questions, I generally try and make my appointments late morning, and here in ID I have only one doctor. As I said in a previous message though I am on IMHO quite a bit of meds right now. That’s why I’m not saying it’s the Ginko. But as my IOP is good, and if it continues we’ll remove some meds slowly. But an IOP of 17, and last time 18 is by far the lowest I’ve seen in years. —  -JD-                          ) ) )                 jdenn…@pobox.com  John W Denning               ( ( (      http://www.pobox.com/~jdenning  Idaho Falls, ID               ) ) )                      (208)522-4413  JD’s UnderWater Photo Course – http://www.pobox.com/~jdenning/uwpc.html

Jdenning reports good news regarding his pressure: >I’m very glad to say it’s down agin. To record lows.> >My right eye was only 17. That’s lower than it’s been in quite >some years.<

JD has been using Gingko and suspects it may be helping. Congratulations, JD, I’m very happy for you–and glad you added another bit of hope to those who may be discouraged about stubborn pressure. I wonder if this test was at the same time of day as previous tests and if the same instrument (and operator) were involved.

Response:

Well we were talking about Ginko and glaucoma not long ago. I said how I’d report after another IOP check. I’m very glad to say it’s down agin. To record lows. My right eye was only 17. That’s lower than it’s been in quite some years. Now I’m not saying it’s due to the Ginko. But maybe it’s helping. I’m not going to stop taking it right now. My doc did cut back my trusopt to BID. I’m glad. Just wish I could get rid of it, and the others I’m taking. Especially I think the Timolol. —  -JD-                          ) ) )                 jdenn…@pobox.com  John W Denning               ( ( (      http://www.pobox.com/~jdenning  Idaho Falls, ID               ) ) )                      (208)522-4413  JD’s UnderWater Photo Course – http://www.pobox.com/~jdenning/uwpc.html
