Cupping is not glaucoma. It is a sign that you may develop glaucoma. Who told you about the cupping? I presume it was someone who was examining your eye — right? Did they offer any other opinion? Did you ask them for any further information? If it was an ophthalmologist why didn’t he/she tell you more? If it was not an ophthalmologist, did they refer you to one? In any event, if you have not been examined by an ophthalmologist, and have not had a visual field test done you probably should arrange to do both — your GP can refer you. If on the other hand you *were* examined by an ophthalmologist and are still asking these questions, I’d suggest you go back and get some answers from the ophthalmologist — and if for any reason they are unqilling or unable to give you the answers, find yourself another ophthalmologist.
